When I arrived at the North Cascades Institute as a Creative Resident, I immediately wished I’d set aside more than a week. Tucked into the forest between Diablo [Reservoir] Lake and Sourdough Mountain, the Environmental Learning Center is an ideal place for rest, inspiration, and diving into creative projects.
