This fun gig involved secretive planning with Dylan, commuting to the shoot via cross country skis, hiding in the snowy woods, and capturing the surprise proposal that caught Kelsey completely off-guard. Their afternoon snowshoe around Emerald Lake became a pretty special event, and it was such a pleasure to play a small part.

We went out to get some portraits of the two of them here, in this place that is the home in their hearts.
After witnessing some wild weather at the top of the gondola, we headed back to their place to be entertained by the antics of Rusty the exuberant lab.
