The Golden Civic Centre has been given new life, with an amazing remodel completed at the end of last year. And with that new life comes a new enthusiasm for weddings in the beautiful space. Laura and Jordan were some of the first to be married in the revamped venue, and they took the history of the building into consideration in the planning of their event. They threw one hell of a 1920s themed party, converting the whole place into a vintage inspired 'speakeasy'. Guests took the theme to heart, and the scene was nothing short of amazing.

These two are another set of Golden locals, full of great ideas and big energy for this little town. They are already key members of our community, and as a result, a bit of a dream team. Also seriously funny. And super in love.

Because this wedding was taking place during the prohibition, everyone had to be pretty discrete about their alcohol consumption. Tea cups make just about anything look innocent . . .

Nikki Morrison of Kickin Thyme Catering put together some sweet treats for the wedding.

Miranda de Groot was also on scene to shoot this one. Fun working with someone new!
