Dave and Colleen are so completely in love it's almost contagious. And on their wedding day they were just as smiley, as excited, as enthusiastic as ever. Their ceremony was out on a beautiful piece of property overlooking Lake Windermere, and the reception was at the Radium Resort in Radium Hot Springs, BC. The weather was perfect. And so, it would seem, was everything else.

Spending such a personal, special day with two people makes me feel pretty close to them. That was certainly the case with these two. By the end of the night when I gave them each a hug goodbye they felt like good friends, and I left full of warm fuzzies that they are journeying forward as a team. A really smiley team.

we rallied all around invermere in a big van with the entire bridal party. sometimes they stayed in the van and heckled from afar. sometimes they jumped right in. pun intended.

We stopped at the little white church on the Shuswap Band Reserve just north of Invermere. I love this little church, and was so glad that Dave and Colleen were willing to stash their smiles for just a few American Gothic style shots. Thanks guys.

Dave is a metal worker with TXN Installations in Invermere, and he hand crafted all of the metal flower centrerpieces for the reception. He also made the wedding rings. Talented guy, no?

I did a few long exposures from the tripod during their first dance, just for fun. Got some sharp ones too, but I like the floating ghost look of this one.
